Chris Brown's latest video - Home (Explicit)

Surely Chris Brown wishes he could press the rewind button.

The 23-year-old Virginia native released a new introspective music video for his single Home on Friday, providing a behind-the-scenes look into the often-shirtless singer's life on the road.
The three-minute film has a nostalgic feel, reminiscing about the days before the singer launched to fame.

'Wish I could go back to when I was young/Wish I could go back from where I came from,' he sings.
The mini-documentary flips between images of the singer performing and city hopping on his round the world Carpe Diem tour.
The whirlwind clip follows Chris rehearsing in Paris, with his crew in Amsterdam and parading his opulent lifestyle in cities such as Cape Town, Frankfurt and Dubai.

There are plenty of clips of Chris showing off his taste for driving expensive Lamborghini and Rolls Royce cars, buying fine leather goods, partying on yachts -- and at one point just holding a brick-sized stack of money.

The video generally avoids his personal battles, instead showing the singer smiling and laughing with friends between takes of avid fans crying their eyes out and rushing at the opportunity to watch him onstage.

Chris excitedly tweeted about the release of his new video on Friday.

'I am excited to announce the world premiere of #Home, a new-docu-video from my world tour! #TeamBreezy, check it out.'
In an interview with E! at the Grammys, the embattled singer talked about harkening an 'old R&B sound' on his latest album, which is due to be released this year.
'A lot of the music nowadays, I love it, but it's very gimmicky. Even some of my music is gimmicky,' he admitted.

He continued: 'But I just want to go back to the real music -- a lot of instruments, the real band, essence f being able to perform and be an entertainer.'
It's easy to see why Chris yearns to press replay, as his recent romantic troubles with on-again, off-again girlfriend Rihanna and squabbles with fellow artists Drake and Frank Ocean have provided much tabloid fodder.
His last album, Fortune, was pitted against Ocean's Channel Orange for a Grammy last week but lost to the newcomer.
