Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway fly into London for the premiere


They have starred in the most anticipated movie of the summer and now they are heading for London.
Hollywood's current big names Tom Hardy, Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway only just attended the world premiere of The Dark Knight Rises, in New York.
However, they are now London bound for their red carpet appearances in the capital at tonight's premiere.

Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway fly into London for the premiere
The 38-year-old took off from JFK Airport with his wife Sandra Blazic and daughter Emmeline, yesterday afternoon.
Bale has played Bruce Wayne three times but, showed his soft side as he carefully carried his little girl through the terminal.

A tired looking Emmeline never had to move a muscle as her father made sure was comfortable in his arms.
While Christian was dressed casually and sported a shabby beard, his wife looked cool in sunglasses and a black top.
Newcomer Anne Hathaway arrived at Heathrow earlier today and looked remarkably fresh faced despite the long haul flight from the States.

The 29-year-old was on the arm of her boyfriend Adam Shulman and the pair kept their eyes hidden behind sunglasses.
Super villain Tom Hardy, who plays Bane, departed New York sporting a strangely slicked back hair style.
The 34-year-old British actor showed off a head of extremely over-gelled hair as he left his hotel.

In fact, he had over applied the gel to the extent that onlookers could see his scalp through his light brown locks. 
He had swapped his usually dapper style for a casual blue and white striped T-shirt and jeans and backpack. 

Hardy plays the leading villain in the third and last installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, but has said he wasn't worried about following in the footsteps of The Joker, played by the late Heath Ledger in the last movie, The Dark Knight.

'That would be putting myself in a competition with somebody who’s clearly brilliant,' he told entertainment website Collider. 
'And it’s not a question of whose talent is greater or whose work is greater.  It’s just trying to be the best that we can be, rather then trying to be better then somebody else.I’m not trying to be better than somebody else. 
'What he did was amazing.  That’s that.  I’ve got a part I’ve got to play, and I want to play my part.'

The film sees Hardy have to wear a reported 'life-giving mask,' which the actor says made filming difficult. 
'When it’s on, it’s hard to breathe,' he said. 'I can’t hear anyone, and no one can see me speak.  So there you go. And the magic begins.'
Hardy stars alongside newbies Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, Joseph Gordon Levitt as policeman John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Bruce Wayne's love interest Miranda Tate. 
Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine reprise their roles as Batman, Officer Jim Gordon, Lucius Fox and Alfred respectively.
