Alicia Keys - Ft Maxwell Fire We Make

As she takes a break on a beach in the Bahamas, her new music video Fire We Make is making waves of its own.
Alicia Keys latest single release from her album Girl On Fire
is aptly named Fire We Make - the singer/songwriter certainly did create some heat in the track's sensual music video.
The stunning 32-year-old teamed up with Maxwell for the sultry song and accompanying video, and together the pair created a steamy period piece set in the French Quarter of old New Orleans.

The new video was directed by Chris Robinson.
And 39-year-old soul/R&B singer Maxwell is just as soulful as Alicia as he steams up the room the moment he steps into frame.
Both stars demonstrate their impressive vocal range across the track, which only serves to add to the appeal of the goosebump inducing video.

Alicia wears a long cream-coloured dress that flatters her stunning figure while bearing her shoulders.
She later changes into a more conservative period outfit with a classic updo when she attends Maxwell's live New Orleans performance.
Maxwell starts off in a casual beige shirt, and later changes into a classic red suit and dark glasses.
The music video begins as a short film, with Alicia's sultry voice narrating: 'It was an amazing time. An amazing time to be in New Orleans'.

'The heat, the French Quarter, and him. And we fell in love', she continues, before a mystery man - the object of her affection - shows up.
Alicia races downstairs to the reception of Battiers Boarding House, where she works, and the chemistry is immediately evident.
As the mysterious guest - Maxwell - asks if there is a room available, the slow, soulful beat kicks in.
Alicia looks nothing short of stunning as she lets the mystery man into his room before retreating to her own.

Iconic old New Orleans: Maxwell takes the stage as one of the legends of periods past, singing to a crowd, but mostly to Alicia on the other side of the room

The narrative unfolds as the pair, from separate rooms, appear to be resisting the temptation to join one another.
Alicia can be seen breaking a sweat beside a heater, with only a small fan and a bowl full of ice to cool her down.
Next, they're at a tiny, smoke-filled old New Orleans live music venue where Maxwell sings on stage while Alicia writhes on the wall on the other side of the room, enthralled.

The video reaches a head when the pair finally unite on the stoop of the grand old hotel.
Chris Robinson also directed some of Alicia's previous videos including Fallin, Superwoman and Karma.
Husband Swizz Beats, with whom she has a two-year-old son named Egypt, must surely be impressed, at the very least, by his wife's captivating performance.
